Match Report

With over 30 Wright Rhythm Competitors at Blackpool this year it was already one of the most successful years ever for the club. Mark, Gilli and Paula were rightly proud to be leading such a dedicated, hard working and talented group out onto the grand stage of the Winter Gardens on Saturday morning. That pride was to be justified over a long and tiring weekend, with no less that four 1st places and 12 trophies to take home! The competition was not without it's disappointments and controversies, who knows what goes through the minds of adjudicators on these occasions but, to my mind at least, everyone, from the first time Blackpoolers to the seasoned pros, was a credit to the school.

There were too many superb results, including numerous semi-finalists, to list them all here (mostly because I'm too lazy) so you can find full results at www.scrutelle.com. However, our finalists do deserve a special mention, especially Lynn who should still be on cloud nine after a stunning performance.
