About Wright Rhythm School of Dance

Gilli and Paula Supadance Winning TeamFormerly champion Ballroom and Latin American dancers, sisters Paula Withers and Gilli Andrews retired from competitive dance in 2000 to found the Wright Rhythm School of Dance. Based in Enfield, the school has grown from humble beginnings to one of the most respected IDTA schools in the country. Now operating from studios across North London, Gilli and Paula work with some of the country's top professionals, including stars from the original Come Dancing, to deliver classes and individual lessons for dancers of all ages and abilities. They have also partnered with the British Dance Council to bring their expertise and enthusiasm to promoting dance in local schools.

Wright Rhythm boasts a friendly and supportive environment with experienced dancers happy to give advice and encouragement to novices, all under the attentive eyes of the principal teachers. This makes for a comfortable, motivating experience inspiring everyone from complete beginners to top competitors to achieve more from their dancing and enjoy themselves at the same time. The scope of the school is broad including Ballroom, Latin American, Disco, Aerobics and Rock 'n' Roll with a strong focus on tailoring tuition to individual needs and requests.

As well as thriving social and medallist classes, the school also runs a highly successful competitive team. In recent years this has produced finalists in every age category of the IDTA UK Nationwide competition including winners in all the under 25 age categories and in the over 50 years. Wright Rhythm teams have also achieved victories in the prestigious UK Supadance League where schools from across the country compete against each other in a team competition.
